In order to achieve the goal of carbon peaking and carbon neutrality, the development of new energy has been accelerated in an all-round way. Recently, the National Energy Administration issued the "Notice on Matters Concerning the Development and Construction of Wind Power and Photovoltaic Power Generation in 2021", which clearly requires that in 2021, the national wind power and photovoltaic power generation will account for about 11% of the electricity consumption of the whole society. Increase year by year to ensure that non-fossil energy consumption accounts for about 20% of primary energy consumption in 2025. In the medium and long term, the goal of carbon peaking, carbon neutrality, and the proportion of non-fossil energy in primary energy consumption will reach about 25% in 2030 is clear. Photovoltaic will play an important role in carbon emission reduction in the future. Photovoltaic power generation is gradually becoming a national Important energy structure reform direction.
Solar street light is a small independent solar photovoltaic power generation system, which is composed of solar panels, energy storage devices, lamps, controllers, etc. With solar photoelectric conversion to provide electric energy, solar street lights have no pollution, no noise, no radiation, green and environmental protection, and easy installation, which brings obvious advantages to the construction of municipal engineering.
Below we will briefly list several application cases of solar street lamps in energy saving, emission reduction and carbon neutrality.
1. Technical transformation of street lamp solar cells in some sections of Yuhang District, Hangzhou
The urban management department of Yuhang District, Hangzhou City has upgraded some street lamps. The CIGS ultra-thin and flexible thin-film solar cell technology used on the surface of the street lamps is seamlessly bonded and perfectly matched with the pole body. In wet, dusty, foggy and other conditions, it can efficiently generate electricity and become the core element of the entire rod body. At the same time, combined with the latest Internet of Things, big data and artificial intelligence technologies, it becomes a truly green and zero-energy block.
2. Ningbo's first modern urban carbon-neutral comprehensive demonstration zone
On June 11, Ningbo's first modern urban carbon-neutral comprehensive demonstration zone started construction in Wandi Village, Yinzhou District. It is understood that it is planned to build a modern urban comprehensive demonstration area of "carbon neutrality, bright services, digital intelligence, and rural revitalization" in 2 to 3 years. In order to build a modern urban carbon-neutral comprehensive demonstration area, more projects will start here in the future, and it is also planned to build street lights with integrated light and storage in the demonstration area in the future.
3. "Belt and Road" National Green Energy Conservation Project
The co-construction countries of the “Belt and Road” have made some beneficial attempts in cooperation to promote green development. For example, the China-Egypt TEDA Suez Economic and Trade Cooperation Zone, established in 2016, has installed "wind energy + solar energy" street lights on all the main roads in the 2 square kilometers project of the first phase of the expansion zone, becoming the first park in Egypt to use green energy street lights on a large scale.
4. Africa
In tropical countries, there is a large market for solar street lamps. In addition, many African countries have introduced energy-saving and environmental protection programs in recent years. Project parties that contract government orders will look for Chinese suppliers on international websites. For more than ten years, solar street lamps made in China have traveled across the ocean to reach Africa. They absorb solar radiation during the day and store it as electrical energy, and discharge it at night to illuminate the streets and alleys of Africa, as well as campus dormitories.
SOKOYO has been in the field of solar street lamps for 15 years. Street lamps are spread all over the country, sold to more than 156 countries and regions around the world, and the cumulative sales volume at home and abroad exceeds 1 million sets. The domestic market mainly cooperates with large state-owned enterprises, state-owned enterprises, double-A qualified lighting and listed lighting companies; the foreign market mainly sells to Africa, Southeast Asia and the Middle East.

Taking into account regional differences and different lighting conditions, SOKOYO solar street lights start from the details and design a rotatable solar panel, which realizes multi-angle adjustment of the solar panel and adapts to the lighting environment of different regions. The color temperature can also be adjusted according to seasonal changes, and the 3000K - 5700K cold and warm light can be switched to meet the lighting needs of different environments.
